Rooted in the Lowcountry

Natural County started with a spreadsheet, a few dozen phone calls, and one health coach's belief that the Lowcountry needed an easier way to find each other. Emily Pursino had spent years connecting clients to local herbalists, farmers, bodyworkers, and makers one conversation at a time — and kept hearing the same thing: “I wish I'd known about them sooner.”

So we built Natural County: a curated, human-reviewed directory of natural living, wellness, and conscious businesses across Beaufort County and the surrounding Lowcountry. Every listing is added by our team, not submitted and published automatically — because a recommendation should mean something.

We're just getting started. As the directory grows, so will the resources, guides, and stories we share here — all in service of one goal: making it a little easier to live, eat, heal, and shop naturally, close to home.
